Meet Teena

Hi. My name is Teena. Or, officially, "Polka's Teena Torpedo". I am a special Basset Houndie, or so The Lady says. I was born on November 18th, 2008 and was the only girl of my litter. The funny thing is, when the Lady saw my photo online, she fell in love with me and knew I was the only puppy for her. I made a long trip out to meet her - 8 hours! When she brought me home, I knew I had found the perfect forever home full of love and wonderful smells. I know I am spoiled - the Lady says I am her best girl - and she would know, she is quite the Basset Hound fanatic! She says I have a unique personality and an attitude, and it's true - I talk to her all the time and let her know exactly what I want when I want it. I even slapped her once out of the blue! But as sassy as I am, I am full of love for my People.

Here I am at six weeks old. I was fortunate to be raised by a nice breeder who took good care of me. She even sent my baby pictures to the Lady so that she could see my growth stages. I was so playful and energetic that I convinced the Lady and Man to get me a baby brother to play with - you'll meet him in the next post. His name is Caesar. We will post some of our daily thoughts and adventures soon.

Here I am hard at work blogging on the Lady's laptop. I mostly like to lay my head down and snooze on the warm keyboard, but here I was caught actually thinking.
